Office Fitout.

Office fit out can be complicated, but it doesn’t need to be.  We can take care and manage every aspect of fitout so that our clients don’t have to; and with one point of contact, our clients always have a dedicated member of our team to keep them informed. 

Multiple elements in one place

There are many elements to consider within the realm of office fitout.  Kinetic Workplace Ltd will ensure that plans for lighting, heating & ventilation, and power & data, fit perfectly into the overall chosen design and space plan.  The most important aspect of fitout is pulling all these threads together into one working and cohesive project at completion.  We do this by working with the client to produce detailed scopes of work and project programmes, then take full responsibility of all approved suppliers and contractors.

We pride ourselves on the fact that nothing is left to chance, all costs are identified and detailed as much as possible at the outset and are pre-agreed. We always guarantee no hidden project extras as we realise how annoying this can be if a CAPEX is signed off. We do of course have the facility to take on additional requirements during a project, these are Variation Orders, and all are agreed in terms of specification and cost prior to implementation on site.

Health & Safety Management

Projects over a certain size become notifiable and need to be declared with the Health and Safety Executive; the Kinetic team is fully equipped to file F10 documents to deal with this request.  All projects that are notifiable are then carried out under CDM regulations.  Every project is monitored and inspected by independent CDM consultants and building regulation consultants.  We also compile all risk assessments and method statements from appointed sub-contractors and implement them into the health & safety file.  These regulations along with statements on how Kinetic have abided by them are then included in the operations and maintenance package at the end of the project.  Kinetic Workplace have full employers, product and public liability insurances in addition to professional indemnity to cover our design packages.

“This project was a relocation 1 mile across London to Piccadilly.

Bearing in mind our day job, we worked alongside Kinetic in developing the design concept for our new offices. We wanted to create a statement on entering the office reception and welcome area focussing the design on our client meeting facility and kitchen breakout area.

The working area then led onward from this feature area and would not be client facing.

The joint design effort quickly came together and works began soon after on the blank canvas space. Kinetic worked extremely quickly to meet our move deadline, getting the fitout and furnishings complete in 5 weeks enabling us to relocate on the final weekend. Kinetic also completed the relocation of all existing furniture and IT. Thanks Vince for a great job.”
