The Potters Pub

A Warm and Inviting Pub with an Excellent Rooftop Terrace

This Project was a fun one.  In terms of design, the pub needed to tread a fine line between having modern features while still being able to fit into the old-time traditional pub style.  This was achieved by supplying a solid wood bespoke curved bar that went around the centre of the pub and having vintage floor tiles around its edge.  Edison Bulbs were used to bring warmth as well as vintage wall lighting above framed pictures.  A lot of Dark wood was used in the form of railings dividing dining and drinking areas to darken the space, making it moodier.

The most interesting part of this project was designing the exterior roof terrace which featured several sheltered seating areas and 2no. sheltered bars.  We constructed these shelters from curved repurposed railway track steel girders and then overlayed with wood to make the roof.  These were then adorned with red pendant lights and fully serviced with plumbing and waste.  Tv’s were also fitted to this area so that sports events could be watched in the summer.
